Hello

Hello and welcome. I'm Bill. If we've met, you probably already learned that I take my work seriously, but I never take people for granted. I am a Marine, a respiratory therapist, a former home care agency owner, a husband, and a father. Every chapter of my life has shaped the mission I bring to ValorMed: making care smarter, more personal, and more supportive of real independence.

My Story

My career started in the United States Marine Corps, where I served as a Combat Engineer with the 4th CEB. This work demanded precision, grit, and the ability to lead in high-risk environments. In Fallujah during OIF 2005, my team recovered 19 tons of unexploded ordnance, cleared mobility routes, and supported infantry units in active combat. These experiences formed the foundation of my mission-driven leadership style and my belief that people deserve clarity, protection, and support.

After the military, I dedicated myself to clinical service as a Flight Respiratory Therapist with MedCenter Air and AeroMD. I managed adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical transports, including ventilators, intubations, and emergency medications, while coordinating with ICU and trauma teams under CAMTS standards. This work required advanced clinical skill, calm decision-making, and trust built moment by moment in the most critical situations.

My commitment to direct care led me to become the Owner and Agency Director of Right at Home in Belmont and South Charlotte. I oversaw thousands of care logs, hundreds of caregivers, and a diverse community of clients. We secured VA and Optum PCS contracts, expanded home-based care services, and integrated essential DME support for families managing chronic conditions. Home care is personal and deeply human, and it reinforced my belief that independence should be accessible to everyone.

Seeing firsthand how home-based care was evolving, I launched Telehealth Carolina, a veteran-owned DME and telehealth distribution company. I partnered with hospitals, ACOs, VA systems, and federal agencies to expand access to remote care technology and emerging mobility solutions. This work strengthened my expertise in DME operations, telehealth expansion, relationship-centered sales, and federal procurement readiness.

Today, all of these experiences come together at ValorMed Health (formerly, Telehealth Carolina). My background in advanced respiratory care, home-based care delivery, mobility and wellness technology, and mission-driven leadership guides how we design solutions for individuals and care teams. Our goal is simple: strengthen independence, improve outcomes, and make smart medical technology feel easy to use and meaningful in everyday life.

The Important Stuff...

I live in Huntersville, North Carolina, with my wife and our two children. They are the reason I care so deeply about building solutions that help families live safer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives at home. Whether I am working with health systems, supporting veteran communities, or partnering with care teams to introduce new technologies, I lead with the same principles that shaped me from the beginning: service, integrity, and compassion.
